Management & Program Analyst - Group Resource Advisor

This full-time Management & Program Analyst, Group Resource Advisor (GG-0343-13) position is located at the 567th Cyberspace Operations Group (COG), Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA), Lackland AFB, San Antonio, Texas. This is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) position aligned under authorities of Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, United States Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25-V2007.

Depending on the type of position, you may be required to complete a 1-year probationary period or a 2-year trial period. Salary is $108,001 - $140,403, based on experience. This position can close at any time.

• Serve on the Commander’s Support Staff, 567 COG within the 67th Cyberspace Wing (67 CW), JBSA-Lackland, TX.
• Act as a staff analyst, evaluator, and advisor to management; support a 600+ person Group by providing advisory/analytical services involving resource management, budget, manpower, and contracting initiatives.
• Accomplish complex projects, resolve controversial issues, and develop and present recommendations to the commander and 67 CW for final reprogramming actions.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
• Minimum educational requirement: a bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• This position is designated as a Drug Test Designated Position.
• Knowledge of laws, principles, policies, and practices of Program Management, Planning, Programming Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES), and security policies for handling classified and sensitive information.
• Knowledge of business, industrial management, contracting procedures, technical concepts, production practices to evaluate contractor proposals and activities, and applicable safety practices for the work environment.
• Knowledge of DoD, Air Force, and related entities that govern, interface with, and influence the program management process and their relation to budgeting and execution.
• Ability to plan, organize, and manage critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of subsystems or equipment; integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of program functions and personnel in support of the process.
