Business Systems Analyst – Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Business Systems Analyst, who will serve as the analyst to the OMBO program office team supporting the SNS.

• Participates in meetings with senior officials from HHS, ASPR, and SNS.
• Analyzes existing or proposed procedures, systems, strategies, and services; identifies needs for improvement and assists in developing methods and resources to accomplish such improvements.
• Works with stakeholders to understand business needs, evaluate, and document requirements; collaborates with IT teams to develop, configure, and test systems that meet those requirements.
• Conducts data mining, analysis, and modeling from structured and unstructured data using analytics tools such as Excel and Power BI; extracts insights to develop findings, inferences, conclusions, and recommendations.
• Translates analysis results into clear, actionable communications that equip decision makers to make data‑driven decisions.
• Creates, develops, and publishes sustainable reports and dashboards that update with current data on a recurring basis.
• Develops and maintains working relationships with appropriate organizations to meet the program’s mission.
• Researches, collects, compiles, and reviews qualitative and quantitative information for program decisions.
• Assists with the preparation of system recommendations to senior officials.
• Maintains continuous readiness posture by remaining flexible to respond 24 hours a day, year‑round, supporting emergency management/incident response functions as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 2–4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex business requirements into technical low‑code solutions (e.g., Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, including attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Required to be on‑call 24 hours/7 days a week; able to respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes and report to a designated location within 90 minutes.
• Ability to handle requests from multiple groups/organizations.
• Able to identify errors, problems, or non‑standard situations and suggest alternatives.
• Proficient with common software, particularly Microsoft Office:
  Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must possess character traits of accuracy, meticulousness, proactivity, efficiency, self‑starter, and teamwork.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) Public Trust suitability.

• Previous experience supporting a government agency.
• Technically savvy.

$50,700.00 – $91,650.00
