About the RoleOperations Technology Solutions provides nonstop global IT support to Amazon Operations, supporting IT infrastructure, developing new technology in‑house, and launching new facilities. As an IT Support Engineer I, you will use your knowledge and specialized skills to implement technical solutions and provide high‑quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise application software across sites in a defined geographical area.

Key Job Responsibilities- Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration in various software and hardware environments.
- Ensuring infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours.
- Interacting with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.
- Managing local technical projects.
- Maintaining or creating policies, procedures, and processes.
- Identifying root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies.
- Moving up to 49 lbs, standing and walking during shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
- Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
- Traveling within the local or regional area to support our customers.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- 2 + years of professional experience.
- 2 + years of troubleshooting in a multi‑user high‑availability environment.
- 2 + years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI model, TCP/IP).
- 2 + years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation experience.
- 1 + year of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience.
- Fluent in Cisco/networking and either Linux and/or Microsoft.
- Possess and maintain a current, valid driver license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Red Hat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry‑relevant certifications.
- Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time.
- Experience in oral and written communication in English.
- Data center infrastructure and facilities experience.
- Ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.
- Proven ability to work successfully with limited supervision.
USA, NY, Niagara Falls – 25.00 – 41.00 USD hourly.
Base salary range is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
