We are seeking a Director of Sec Ops Integration and Threat Hunting to serve as the primary operational interface between Security Operations (Sec Ops) and the State Lead. This position leads proactive cyber defense operations by integrating threat intelligence, advanced threat hunting, incident response, and security operations into a unified operational capability aligned with state mission objectives.

The Director will:

• Coordinate with state entities to strengthen statewide cyber readiness and operational awareness
• Develop and lead enterprise threat hunt programs, operationalize intelligence into actionable detections, support coordinated cyber response efforts, and enhance collaboration between government, industry, academia, and critical infrastructure partners
• Ensure the organization can effectively “SEE the threat, DECIDE, and ACT” within a unified cyber defense framework across state cyber terrains
• Act as both strategic liaison to state leadership and operational units and leader for collaborative threat hunt and cyber defense initiatives
• Lead advanced threat hunting operations across enterprise environments
• Align SOC operations with state frameworks and reporting standards
• Ensure compliance with state and federal information‑sharing protocols
• Coordinate cyber incident response activities with state and external partners
• A Bachelor's Degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive IT/Cyber experience
• Possess applicable industry certifications such as CISSP or CISM
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and successfully pass a background check
