Job Description & How to Apply Below

As an Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) Engineer, you are the primary escalation point for Data Center Technicians within your assigned region. You are an expert at troubleshooting hardware-based problems such as server-level hardware, fiber and copper cable paths, networking equipment, and related issues. You have an interest in the services used to maintain and manage hardware within the datacenter. You use this knowledge and excellent communication skills to work with multiple internal teams to troubleshoot and solve complex problems for our customers.

ADC Engineering combines operational support and systems engineering to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault‑tolerant services and systems dedicated to U.S. Government customers. ADC Engineers ensure that AWS services—both internal and external—continually raise the bar on security, availability, and scalability. Moreover, ADC Engineers keep an eye on system capacity and performance, optimizing existing systems, building infrastructure and eliminating work through automation.

In this role you will manage complex operational challenges of scale while working with other teams and engineers to make large‑scale system decisions.

This position requires that the candidate be a U.S. Citizen and currently possess an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
