We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Consultant with strong expertise in UX Research Operations, user-centered design, process optimization, and collaboration platforms. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence across UX research initiatives, streamline workflows, enhance stakeholder engagement, and support the development of scalable research and design practices. This role requires a combination of UX expertise, operational management, process improvement, and technical platform administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize UX Research Operations processes, governance, and workflows.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance SharePoint sites, hubs, and collaboration environments.
  • Design and manage Jira Work Management (JWM) dashboards, reports, and operational tracking systems.
  • Standardize research intake, prioritization, triage, tracking, and closure processes.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, process maps, workflow documentation, and operational playbooks.
  • Develop business component models and analyze process dependencies across teams.
  • Identify and implement workflow automation and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Leverage Generative AI, analytics, and reporting tools to generate actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers, designers, product teams, and business stakeholders to improve research accessibility and engagement.
  • Deliver operational metrics, executive-level reporting, and visibility into research effectiveness and outcomes.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of design systems, research repositories, and knowledge-sharing frameworks.
  • Champion usability, accessibility, and user-centered design best practices.
  • Must have 5+ years of professional experience in UX/UI Design, UX Operations, Design Operations, Digital Experience, or a related discipline, with a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrated expertise in design tools including Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe XD, with the ability to create user-centered designs, prototypes, and visual assets.
  • Extensive experience administering and managing collaboration and workflow platforms, including SharePoint, Jira, Jira Work Management (JWM), Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Forms, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and manage operational processes, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and governance models that support UX research and organizational objectives.
  • Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, process maps, workflow documentation, and operational playbooks to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate business processes, identify dependencies, and recommend process improvements.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executives, business leaders, researchers, designers, and technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience leading or supporting User Research Operations programs, including the establishment of scalable processes, governance frameworks, participant management, and research repositories.
  • Strong understanding of User Research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, and persona development, with the ability to translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Knowledge of Information Architecture, user journey mapping, and user flow design to improve the usability and effectiveness of digital experiences.
  • Experience creating wireframes, low-fidelity concepts, high-fidelity designs, prototypes, and design mockups that effectively communicate user experience solutions.
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design principles, ensuring digital products are usable by diverse user populations.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, or contributing to enterprise design systems that promote consistency, efficiency, and scalability across products and platforms.
  • Ability to leverage Generative AI tools, analytics platforms, and reporting technologies to improve operational efficiency, derive business insights, and enhance decision-making.
  • Experience defining and tracking UX metrics, operational KPIs, and research effectiveness measures to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Professional certifications in UX Design, Human-Centered Design, Accessibility, Agile methodologies, or related disciplines are considered a strong advantage.
