What You Will Do- Lead Agile/Scrum delivery across cross-functional Product, Development, and QA teams to support timely, high-quality software delivery.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe methodologies to strengthen adoption and delivery maturity.
- Identify and remove impediments, manage risks, and help teams maintain focus on sprint goals and delivery commitments.
- Use Agile metrics, including velocity, predictability, and team health, to promote transparency and continuous improvement.
- Promote delivery best practices across engineering, testing, and release activities to support quality outcomes.
- Partner with Product Owners to refine the backlog, prioritize work, and align sprint execution with business objectives.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performing team environment by supporting healthy team dynamics and effective conflict resolution.
- Communicate clearly with leadership and stakeholders on progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery status.
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Two (2) years of experience supporting Agile software development or technology implementation projects.
- Experience supporting or leading Agile teams in software development environments.
- Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile frameworks; SAFe experience preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to remove impediments, manage competing priorities, and drive team outcomes.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving, organizational, and time management skills.
- Ability to foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Due to the nature of this role and associated government clearance requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders) to be eligible for consideration.
- Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST"; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification.
- SAFe certification or hands‑on experience applying SAFe practices in a delivery environment.
- Experience supporting federal government, public sector, or regulated industry programs.
- Experience using Jira, Dev Ops, or similar Agile lifecycle management tools to manage backlogs, sprints, and reporting.
The annual salary range for this position is $61,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
