Software Engineer + Security Clearance

Position: Software Engineer [$224k/yr+] with Security Clearance
A current U.S. Government Security clearance is not required at start, but will be processed for a Secret level clearance; U.S. citizenship required. Can also consider candidates with a current Secret or TS level clearance.

Summary:

• Develop and integrate custom software components and open-source code.
• Build, manage, and deploy virtual infrastructure within cloud environments.
• Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and Big Data systems.
• Focus on robust systems integration and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Utilize modern development and operations tools to support project goals. Qualifications & Compensation:

• Salary: $224k+ yearly compensation

Job Description:

• Develop and integrate custom software components using languages such as Python and Go.
• Design, build, and manage virtual infrastructure, including deployment within cloud environments like AWS.
• Utilize orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Ansible for infrastructure management.
• Implement automation scripts using Bash.
• Work with Big Data systems and cloud repository solutions.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins/Hudson and Maven.
• Apply Agile/Scrum methodologies for software development and project management, utilizing JIRA and Confluence.
• Practice Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools including Puppet.
• Perform comprehensive systems integration and test (I&T) activities.
• Contribute to a strong Dev Ops culture, promoting automation and efficiency.
• Manage code repositories and facilitate collaboration using platforms such as Gitlab.
• Operate and manage systems proficiently within a Linux operating environment.
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMWare.
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and team collaboration.
