Information Assurance Engineer III

We are STS Government Solutions (SGS), a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nation. We are currently supporting a new mission in San Antonio, TX and seeking additional team members to join our team. SGS is seeking a Information Assurance Engineer III for a new effort at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of cyber security for onsite systems.
• Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities to systems and networks and implement necessary security measures to nullify those threats.
• Analyze the organization’s network and systems security measures and update them as necessary to maintain security compliance.
• Assist in the updating and maintaining of the organization’s security documentation including policies, standards, and best practices.
• Record incidents and report them to upper management.
• Ensure the integrity and protection of networks and systems through implementation of secure policies and procedures.
• Educate the organization’s employees on standards and best practices to mitigate the risk of data exposure.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years of recent relevant experience.
• Certifications:
  
  CISSP-ISSMP, GSLC, Legacy CCSP, or CISSP.
• TS/SCI Clearance.
