What You Will Do- Design and implement responsive web pages and digital assets for the ACF CWIG platform.
- Collaborate with UX researchers, content strategists, and developers to translate user needs into intuitive web designs.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts.
- Support iterative design improvements based on user feedback and analytics.
- Maintain design consistency across the CWIG website and related digital properties.
- Bachelor’s degree. Additional Four (4) Years of experience is needed in lieu of degree.
- 3+ years of experience in web design, preferably in a government or nonprofit setting.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles.
- Experience designing for accessibility and usability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Experience working on federal government contracts or child welfare programs.
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Drupal, Word Press).
- Knowledge of front-end development frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React).
- Experience with user research and usability testing.
- Portfolio showcasing relevant web design projects.
The annual salary range for this position is $61,000.00-$. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
