CONTEXT:
The Compute & Cloud Experience Pole is the single entry point for the infrastructures supporting the applications and their life cycles.
As a Database Administrator, you will play an essential role within the Onshore BDD Exploitation & Expertise team, contributing to the stability and performance of our systems while respecting our fundamental values.
You will work closely with the development teams and application managers.
MISSIONS:
As an Expert Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the operation of production databases. Here is an overview of your main missions and tasks:
Database Management:
- Ensure the availability, security, and performance of Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server databases;
- Monitor performance and resolve database-related incidents;
- Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, including patching and change management.
Optimization and Improvement:
- Analyze database schemas to propose improvements;
- Implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal performance.
Technical Support:
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve database-related issues.
- Assist users in case of malfunctions or specific requests.
Reporting:
- Generate performance and incident reports for the management team.
