DevSecOps Platform Architect

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client in San Antonio, TX is seeking a senior-level Dev Sec Ops  Platform Architect to join a centralized engineering enablement organization responsible for advancing Dev Sec Ops  maturity, platform engineering, cloud modernization, and delivery excellence across multiple business units.

Summary:

This team serves as a shared-services organization that partners with software engineering, infrastructure, operations, and security teams to improve how applications are built, deployed, secured, and supported. The environment is heavily focused on Azure cloud technologies, CI/CD optimization, automation, security integration, and enterprise platform standards. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of platform architecture expertise, Dev Sec Ops  leadership, and hands-on cloud experience while helping drive modernization initiatives across both traditional and cloud-native environments.

Responsibilities:

* Define and guide Dev Sec Ops  platform architecture and modernization strategy

* Lead cloud migration and platform transformation initiatives

* Architect and improve CI/CD ecosystems, deployment automation, and infrastructure provisioning

* Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption and platform standardization

* Partner with engineering, security, infrastructure, and operations teams

* Establish governance, security-by-design, and compliance best practices

* Evaluate emerging technologies, automation opportunities, and AI-driven platform capabilities

* Mentor teams and advance Dev Sec Ops  maturity across the organization

REQUIREMENTS:

* Strong Dev Sec Ops  and platform architecture experience

* Azure cloud architecture and modernization expertise

* Azure Dev Ops and/or Git Hub Enterprise

* CI/CD architecture and delivery automation

* Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates, or similar IaC technologies

* Kubernetes/AKS and container platform experience

* Security integration within delivery pipelines

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

Certifications:

* AZ-305 Azure Solutions Architect Expert

* AZ-400 Azure Dev Ops Engineer Expert

* AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate

* AZ-204 Azure Developer Associate

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
