Qualifications- High School Diplomaor G.E.D.
- Associate Degreeinarelatedfieldfromanaccreditedcollegeoruniversityispreferred.
- Cooperatingwiththe Districtstaffinthetotalefforttobringaboutqualityeducationforstudentsthroughthe use of instructional technology.
- Assistinginplanning,coordinatingandimplementinginstructionaltechnologyapplicationsconsistentwith established projectobjectivesand activities.
- Providingon-goingin-servicetoteachers,administratorsand
Para-professionalsintheuseofinstructional technology and the use of hardware applications. - Troubleshootshardwareandsoftwaretoidentifycomputermalfunctions.
- Maintainstechnologyinventoryrecordsandpaperwork.
- Coordinatingeffortstoassistschoolsintheidentification,selection,acquisition,useandevaluationofcomputer hardware and appropriate software.
- Establishingandmaintainingtechnologyresourcesappropriateforclassroomuse.
- Attendingrequiredlocal,stateandothermeetings/workshops/conferencesforthepurposeofsharingand collecting information gained with the district schools.
- Performsotherjobrelateddutiesasrequired.
- Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelyinbothwrittenandoralformswithalllevelsofmanagement,bothinternaland external to the district.
- Abilitytoestablishandmaintaineffectiveworkingrelationshipsbothinternalandexternaltothedistrict.
- Abilitytoorganizespecialprogramsforassignedcampus.
- Abilitytousecomputerincludingsoftware,databaseusedbythedistrict,spreadsheetandwordprocessing software, calculator, copy machine and telephone.
- Abilitytoanalyzedata
- Abilitytouseeffectiveinterviewtechniques,effectivepublicspeakingskills,and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements
- Light Work:mayrequireoccasionallightlifting.
- Nightsandweekendactivitieswillbeoccasionallyrequired.
- Positionisinschoolsettingandrequiresprolongedworkatadeskinonelocation,walking,and standing.
- Moderate travel is required.
