ETL Test Engineer / Data QA Engineer (Informatica IICS/IDMC)
Locations:
San Antonio, TX
Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $35-$41/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking an experienced ETL Test Engineer / Data QA Engineer with strong expertise in ETL testing, data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience testing complex data workflows, data warehouses, and enterprise applications while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and reliability of business-critical data.

The role requires experience with Informatica Power Center, IDMC/IICS, ETL validation, UAT support, regulatory testing, and data quality management.

• 4 7 years of experience in ETL Testing / Data Warehouse Testing / Data QA.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • ETL testing
  • Data validation
  • Data reconciliation
  • Data quality testing
  • End-to-end business process testing
• Experience testing enterprise data warehouses and complex data integrations.
• Strong knowledge of Informatica Power Center.
• Experience with Informatica cloud technologies:
  • IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud)
  • IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) (preferred)
• Experience validating:
  • Data transformations
  • Source-to-target mappings
  • Data loads
  • Business rules
  • Reporting accuracy
• Strong understanding of SQL for data validation and testing.
• Experience supporting:
  • UAT testing
  • Compliance testing
  • Production validation
  • Audit requirements

• Define and execute QA strategies, test plans, test approaches, and exit reports.
• Review business and technical requirements to ensure testability.
• Identify testing scope, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
• Validate end-to-end business processes and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of financial calculations, reporting, and data outputs.
• Coordinate testing activities across multiple applications, systems, and data warehouses.
• Perform ETL validation, data reconciliation, and defect analysis.
• Manage defect triage, reporting, tracking, and resolution.
• Establish testing standards, processes, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, data engineers, and QA teams.

• ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager
• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
• SAFe Agile Certification
