Position Overview

Target Analyst Reporter (TAR) – GG-0132-12, full‑time at the 375th Cyber Operations Squadron, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. Salary $90,000–$116,000. This DCIPS position is aligned under Section 1601, Chapter 83 of Title 10, U.S. Code and DoD Instruction 1400.25‑V2007. Eligible for the DCIPS STEM TLMS with a qualifying STEM degree.

Key Responsibilities

As a Target Analyst Reporter for U.S. Cyber Command’s Cyber Mission Forces, you will conduct semi‑complex to complex technical analysis and produce information obtained from one or more intelligence sources to support customer requirements. Your duties include providing integrated cyber intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities; collecting, processing, exploiting and disseminating accurate and timely information to support national and combatant commanders.

You will employ all‑source intelligence to identify, analyze and report threats in support of U.S. Cyber Command and NSA/CSS Network Operations. Major duties are identified by U.S. Cyber Command and Combatant Command direction and regulations.

Qualifications
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Designated drug‑testing position
  • Preferred:
    An advanced intelligence‑related or professional/scientific degree
  • Minimum 4 years as a target analyst reporter, with at least one assignment supporting a cyber‑related intelligence mission
  • Knowledge of intelligence research and reporting methods, techniques, and practices; ability to use all‑source intelligence information systems
  • Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to report detailed analyses of complex information from multiple sources, including database manipulation
  • Knowledge of the national intelligence community, joint and DoD structure, organizations, and mission functions, inter‑relationships, and operations
  • Skill in conducting unbiased complex reporting, identifying available systems/data sources, and producing assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities
Desired Experience

Basic Level TAR Job Qualification Readiness (JQR) completed – and Senior Level TAR JQR completed is preferred. Your application will be evaluated based on how well you meet these qualifications.
