Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a Website Administrator for a potential contract to support services to include designing, testing, and operating a Financial Management Office's physical, relational, and object‑oriented databases across multiple platforms and computing environments; and providing subject matter expertise in the identification and resolution of database management issues and the ability to manage and track milestone‑driven activities. This is a remote opportunity.
MissionThe DLA Financial Management Office requires a Contractor to provide database architecture and development support services for this Oracle financial database intranet site. The objective is to obtain support services to develop reports utilizing existing financial reporting data for an online web interface and develop Online Transactional (OLT) Database applications required for financial recordings.
Key Responsibilities- Must be proficient in Java, Python, Web Logic Scripting, Linux Shell scripting C#, HTML/JavaScript.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using JDeveloper and Eclipse IDEs.
- Working knowledge and experience in Java Programming - J2EE, Struts 2 framework and Model View Controller (MVC) practices, JDBC, JSP, Servlets, Swing, Java messaging service (JMS/MQ Series) and command line.
- Working knowledge and experience in Web Programming - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Material CSS, AngularJS, and Ajax.
- Extensive understanding of assistive technology tools such as JAWS, Zoom Text, Dragon, and Axe Monitoring tools, and must be able to code to 508 compliance standards.
- Knowledge of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d) compliance requirements.
- Working knowledge and experience in Perl, C#.Net, SQL, and PL/SQL programming.
- Working knowledge and experience in the administration of Oracle Web Logic Application Server (version 14.x+). Must be able to install, configure, monitor, and service the components. Must be able to create diagnostic modules and set up alerts and notifications using the Web Logic Diagnostic Framework and WLST scripting. Must possess knowledge of security realms, authentication providers, and have experience with setting up connections between Web Logic and Oracle Identity Management servers.
- Working knowledge and experience with patching of the middleware applications with a minimum of Oracle Web Logic and JAVA.
- Working knowledge and experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) development and production environments.
- Working knowledge and experience using command line in RHEL, SSH, FTP service (Windows), Team Foundation Server (install, configure, administration) (Windows), and Scheduled Tasks in Windows 2008 server.
- Working knowledge and experience in Java development tools such as JDeveloper, Eclipse (OEPE ed.) Java SDK, Java Runtime; ability to compile Java class files, create and deploy WAR files.
- Working knowledge and experience with PL/SQL, SQL, SQLPlus, TOAD, and Oracle Database server.
- Working knowledge and experience with IBM MQ Series channels.
- Demonstrated ability to design, create, and deploy applications to interact with IBM MQ Server. Download data, prepare it for data loading, log information, and send emails.
- Working knowledge and experience in managing SSL Certificates using Oracle Wallet Manager, OpenSSL, and Java Keytool, and configuring Web Logic for the use of Certificates.
- Working knowledge and experience with managing Windows shares, shell scripting RHEL or Windows).
- Working knowledge and experience with Secure FX, Secure CRT, Toad, and Microsoft Visual Studio 2019.
