Business Analyst

Description:

Trains a team of Business Analysts and analyzes business processes/systems, identifies inefficiencies and required controls, documents procedures, and tracks KPIs.

Defines high-level application relationships, flows, and implementation of business processes, activities, functions, information, and applications. Creates business and system use cases or functional specifications.

Collaborates with internal and external customers to elicit business concerns and develop workable solutions.

Participates in planning initiatives, feasibility studies, cost/benefit analyses, and new systems design.

Creates business requirement documents (BRD) that set out project requirements including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines.

Creates, extracts, and modifies ad-hoc and standardized reports based on financial and operational data as needed.

Possesses a thorough understanding of data, sources of data, and relationships of data in order to generate meaningful information for management.

Analyzes and suggests areas for cost control and reduction and develops business process flows.

Works independently and collaborates with junior and senior stakeholders.

Knowledge of scripting and database languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, etc.

Strong working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence.

Experience supporting business requirements for large-scale applications in the concerned domain.

Knowledge of defects tracking and release management.
