We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Engineer with extensive knowledge of Rockwell Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive systems and a proven track record of providing exceptional technical support. This role requires a proactive individual who can troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver effective solutions to enhance production efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical support for Rockwell FTPC, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to FTPC and associated systems in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement system improvements and upgrades.
- Conduct training sessions for end-users on FTPC functionalities and best practices.
- Document technical issues and solutions in a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans for new software releases and updates.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in FTPC and automotive technologies.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall production capabilities.
Mandatory
Skills:
- Strong expertise in Rockwell Factory Talk Production Centre (FTPC).
- 7-10 years of experience in technical support, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred
Skills:
- Experience with other Rockwell Automation products.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as SQL or Python.
- Project management experience.
- Certifications related to Rockwell Automation or technical support.
