SOX testers

SOX Tester Position

This is basically for SOX testers. They want someone with 4-6 years of experience. Need ITGC testing, user access management, automation, scripting and SOX compliance experience.

1. Technical and Automation

Skills:

• Excel Mastery:
  Advanced Excel skills, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data analysis tools to handle large datasets efficiently.
• Automation Scripting:
  Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or JavaScript to develop and execute automated testing scripts.

2. Systems and Platforms Proficiency:

• Identity Management:
  Experience with Saviynt and SailPoint for identity governance and administration to support compliance and user access management.
• ERP Systems:
  Familiarity with Oracle and SAP to test controls related to financial reporting and IT operations.

3. Cloud and Dev Ops Tools:

• Azure:
  Understanding of Azure cloud services for testing and managing IT environments.
• JIRA and Git Hub:
  Experience with JIRA for project management and Git Hub for version control in managing code and scripts.
• Ticketing Systems:
  Proficiency in using ticketing systems to track issues and resolutions.

4. Compliance and Testing Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of SOX compliance requirements and ITGC frameworks.
• Experience in designing, executing, and documenting control testing procedures.
• Ability to detect potential control deficiencies and recommend effective remediation strategies.

5. Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities:

• Strong analytical skills for evaluating control effectiveness and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Competence in troubleshooting issues within automated scripts and data analysis processes.

6. Communication and Interpersonal

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication to document findings and collaborate effectively with IT and business stakeholders.
• Ability to engage with cross-functional teams to understand system environments and control needs.

7. Attention to Detail and Precision:

• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and precision in testing and documentation.

8. Project Management and Organizational

Skills:

• Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently with robust organizational and time management skills.
