Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, scalable, and efficient data solutions.
- Support end-to-end data engineering initiatives and data transformation efforts.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and data transformations.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT or similar technologies.
- Support data warehousing initiatives, including data modeling and data quality practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues across the data lifecycle.
- Create and support unit testing efforts to ensure solution accuracy.
- Document enhancements and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with Agile teams to deliver business solutions
SQL Development (3+ Years)
- Strong SQL experience developing and optimizing complex data transformations and queries.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts including:
- Data modeling
- ETL/ELT processes
- Data quality management and best practices
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse technologies.
- Snowflake
- DBT (preferred)
- Python
- Control-M or similar workflow orchestration/job scheduling tools
- Experience independently delivering at least 2-3 mid-sized to large development projects.
- Ability to support data engineering solutions from design through deployment.
- Experience troubleshooting complex data and integration issues.
- Strong collaboration skills within Agile development environments.
- Experience driving technical tasks and meeting project objectives.
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data transformation best practices.
- Exposure to workflow orchestration and scheduling tools.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced delivery environments.
