KEY SUMMARYWe are seeking a proactive and skilled
** Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE)

ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE General comment on degrees:
Most contracts allow additional experience (4-5 years) in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 4-5 years experience credit for a Bachelor's Degree. Some contracts give 2 years experience credit for a Master's Degree. We will work with you to find the right fit.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and implement security solutions for information systems
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations
- Collaborate with other teams to integrate security measures into systems
- Proficiency in security tools (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems)
- Strong understanding of encryption technologies
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., NIST, HIPAA)
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and penetration testing
- Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) practices
- Expertise in threat detection and mitigation strategies
- Experience with cloud security models (e.g., AWS, Azure)
- Knowledge of network security protocols and architecture
- Familiarity with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools
- Proficiency in security automation and scripting (e.g., Python, Power Shell)
- Understanding of secure software development practices
- Experience with risk management frameworks and security audits
