Quality Control Analyst (QCA)

Akkodis is looking for Quality Control Analyst (QCA) in San Antonio TX 78249.

Duration: 12-Month Contract

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM CT (8:00 AM–5:00 PM may be available)

Experience: 2+ years, preferably in banking/financial services

We are seeking a Quality Control Analyst (QCA) / Manual QA Tester to support software development projects within an enterprise financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on manual testing experience across web and desktop applications
, strong test case creation skills, and prior experience working in a banking or financial institution
.

• 2+ years of manual software testing experience
• Minimum 1 year of banking/financial services QA/testing
• Hands‑on HP ALM / Quality Center experience
• Manual testing of web and desktop applications
• Experience writing and executing test cases/test scripts
• Understanding of Waterfall SDLC
• Experience with defect identification, reporting, validation, and retesting
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong written and verbal communication

• Manual testing experience with mobile applications
• Advanced Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, or MS Project
• Experience with other test management tools equivalent to HP ALM
• Experience collaborating with development and automation teams
• Financial institution or credit union experience

• Review business, technical, functional, and design requirements.
• Develop and maintain test cases and test scripts.
• Execute manual testing according to established test plans.
• Prepare and manage test data.
• Identify, document, validate, and retest defects.
• Verify application fixes and enhancements.
• Participate in requirements and project meetings.
• Communicate testing status, progress, and issues to QA leadership.
• Collaborate with developers and automation engineers when needed.
• Assist with post‑implementation and support testing.
• Help train testers on QA systems, applications, and tools.
