direct the planning, control, and execution of organizational processes as the supervisory (information technology) it specialist to ensure the successful delivery of tactical and strategic communications capabilities across the 106th signal brigade.

translate strategic guidance into actionable plans, policies, directives, and procedures by collaborating with netcom staff, subcommands, army macoms, and hqda headquarters elements.

represent the command on technical boards, panels, and advisory groups to establish critical liaison with senior technical and management personnel.

requirements conditions of employment:

• appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance.
• position requires travel up to 15% of the time
• incumbent must successfully complete a supervisory probationary period, including required supervisory training, unless probationary period was previously completed.
• the incumbent is also required to complete mandatory refresher training in accordance with applicable training laws.
• appointment to this position is subject to a three year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in dodi 1400.25 v3005, cyber excepted service, employment and placement.
• this is a dod cyber excepted service (ces) personnel system position in the excepted service under 10 united states code 1599f. Appointment to this position does not confer competitive status.
• in accordance with dodm 8140.03 and supplemental army guidance, the employee must obtain and maintain the following requirements for each cyber work role. (see additional information section for additional conditions of employment)

Specialized experience would be demonstrated by:

• directing program management efforts to support enterprise (information technology) it modernization initiatives, risk mitigation, and compliance with agency policies
• monitoring project deliverables to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture and security operating standards
• representing the command as a technical authority on advisory boards, panels, or working groups to resolve complex it program issues
• integrating modern information technologies into planning and development phases to ensure the seamless operability of tactical and enterprise networks.

the specialized experience must include, or be supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:
