UX Designer - Mid Level

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a UX Designer - Mid Level in San Antonio, TX. Overview: UX (User Experience) Designers are responsible for improving the user's experience of using a product, such as making it easier to use and more enjoyable. This typically applies to computer hardware or software. A portfolio of previous work may be necessary to be hired for this position, and UX Designers work with developers, analysts, and other Designers to determine changes and preferences in the market.

UX Designers may design and create wireframes for products, as well as develop and test prototypes, and actual end-users are often used to determine whether a product can be used as intended. After testing is complete, modifications should be introduced and more testing will be carried out until the product reaches its best form. Much of this work is done on teams, though there are also individual responsibilities which include meeting time-constraints.

After the product has been introduced to the market, it must then be evaluated for success and feedback from customers, and modifications may be made for future editions. UX Designers typically work full-time in an office, though some work on a freelance basis. This role will be focused on the security, profile, and member lifecycle spaces.

Duties Include:

• Follow lead designer in execution of UI/UX and design research to solve business needs, and support diverse work streams such as Security, Profile, Recovery
• Create new concepts for user experience using our design system
• Conduct and Support research to validate concepts and ideas
• Execute designs through internal review process
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and opportunities

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a computer-related field is generally required, though experience may be substituted for education in some cases
• Experience in Adobe Suite, HTML, CAD and CSS is necessary for this position

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
