Akkodis is looking for an experienced IT Solutions Architect to support a major Fortune 500 energy organization in San Antonio, TX
.
This is a great opportunity for a Solutions Architect, Data Architect, Data Solutions Architect, or Cloud/Data Architect with experience designing enterprise solutions across data, analytics, AI, cloud, and integration
.
Position: IT Solutions Architect
Duration: Through December 2026, with potential to extend
Pay: $60–$80/hr on W-2, based on experience
What you'll be doing:- Define end-to-end architecture for data products, analytics, AI, and integration solutions
- Translate business requirements into scalable and reusable architecture patterns
- Design integration across source systems, data platforms, APIs, and consumption layers
- Support domain-driven data products, semantic layers, and AI-ready architectures
- Align solutions with enterprise data governance, security, and technology standards
- Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to engineering teams
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, and modernization opportunities
- Partner with business, product, engineering, governance, and vendor teams
- Solutions Architecture / Data Architecture
- Enterprise Data & Analytics Architecture
- Cloud platforms –
AWS, Azure, or GCP - Data platforms –
Databricks, Snowflake, Synapse, Data Lake/Lakehouse - APIs & Enterprise Integration
- Data Governance & Security
- Data Products / Semantic Layers / Data Modeling
- AI/ML or AI-ready architecture exposure
