Windows Systems Administrator III
Location:

Responsibilities
• Install, configure, test, tune, maintain, harden, upgrade, patch, and support physical and virtual Microsoft Windows Server environments across classified and unclassified networks.
• Design, implement, document, and maintain enterprise Windows Server infrastructure and supporting utility programs and monitoring tools.
• Administer and support core Microsoft infrastructure services including: ○ Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM), Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
• Monitor system performance, analyze hardware and software requirements, and recommend improvements to increase system efficiency, reliability, and availability.
• Create and manage capacity planning, utilization, and trending reports for enterprise systems.
• Perform day-to-day troubleshooting, maintenance, and support of Windows Server operating systems and associated infrastructure.
• Conduct annual DISA STIG compliance reviews and remediation activities on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers and installed software.
• Support cybersecurity, vulnerability management, patch management, and system hardening initiatives in accordance with DoD and organizational security requirements.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, system configurations, diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Coordinate with Information Technology Equipment Custodians (ITECs) and Property Custodians (PCs) by documenting accountable equipment moves within required timelines.
• Ensure proper cable management practices by neatly bundling and concealing system and peripheral cabling during installations and maintenance activities.
Requirements
• Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain TS/SCI.
• 7+ years of experience installing, configuring, administering, troubleshooting, and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server environments.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, MECM/SCCM, WSUS.
• Experience supporting both physical and virtualized server environments within secure DoD or federal enterprise networks.
• Experience with Windows Server hardening, patching, vulnerability remediation, and security compliance requirements.
• Experience performing DISA STIG compliance reviews and remediation activities.
• Strong understanding of system administration, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
• IAT level II certification
• Microsoft Computing Certification Required (at least one of the following); ○ Microsoft 365 Certified:

Compensation • $90,000-$130,000, commensurate on experience.
