Senior Infrastructure Engineer

• Design scalable platform and infrastructure solutions and lead complex system implementations
• Drive automation of service delivery and operational processes
• Resolve highly complex technology production issues and lead end-to-end troubleshooting across multiple systems
• Analyze end-to-end system failures and recommend solutions to business leaders
• Experiment with new patterns and technologies
• Establish and improve engineering best practices, concepts, and patterns with peers and the business
• Identify innovative solutions for the product and business
• Mentor engineers and provide technical coaching on enterprise platform solution design, implementation, operation, and maintenance
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions and CI/CD pipelines for automated platform deployment and operations
• Identify, measure, monitor, and control risks in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures
• Provide technical leadership for Snowflake platform engineering initiatives, architecture, automation, operational excellence, platform modernization, and AI enablement
• Design, implement, maintain, and support infrastructure and platform solutions for enterprise data, analytics, and AI services
• Partner across technology organizations to deliver secure, scalable, and innovative solutions

• Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
• 6 years of infrastructure experience, including 2 years in a Systems Operations environment supporting complex environment deployment and infrastructure management activities, or applicable IT experience
• 4 years of experience creating, modifying, and maintaining infrastructure and individual system components
• Advanced business acumen in business operations, risk management, industry practices, and emerging trends
• Proficient understanding of designing scalable IT system infrastructures, implementing system changes, or automating service delivery and maintenance tasks
• Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies and tools
• Deep experience administering and engineering Snowflake at enterprise scale
• Experience supporting large-scale SaaS or cloud-native platforms
• Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance optimization, security, governance, and networking
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and Git-based deployment practices
• Experience designing and implementing platform automation and self-service capabilities
• Experience supporting enterprise data, analytics, AI, or machine learning platforms
• Experience leading platform modernization or cloud migration initiatives
• Experience working in highly regulated environments with strong risk and compliance requirements
• Ability to mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on complex initiatives
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to influence architecture and engineering decisions across organizations
• Experience with cloud networking, private connectivity solutions such as AWS Private Link, identity and access management, and security controls within SaaS platforms

Demonstrates expertise in designing and implementing scalable IT system infrastructures, with a strong focus on Snowflake platform engineering, Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, and cloud technologies. Proven ability to lead complex system implementations, mentor engineers, and drive automation in service delivery and operational processes.
