Pay: $80-$100/Hr.
Job Summary- The Information Security Technical Program/Project Delivery Manager leads the end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology programs that advance clients Information Security capabilities. The role manages multiple work streams, project plans, resources, risks, issues, dependencies, financial and change-control activities, and business and technology deliverables across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid life cycles.
- The Delivery Manager develops integrated plans, drives execution, manages program risks and dependencies, and ensures early engagement across Architecture, Risk, Engineering, Operations, Technology, and impacted business organizations. The role also prepares and presents program updates to key stakeholders and executive management.
- End-to-end management of multiple programs within the defined schedule, budget and quality as per scope of programs/projects.
- Manages resources and drives team to complete large complex Info Sec programs/projects.
- Responsible for developing project timelines, detailed project plans, and tracking program/project progress and status.
- Develop deliverables and confirm interdependencies within Info Sec departments and stakeholders, to include Technology organizations outside of Info Sec.
- Ensure responsible parties deliver their assigned tasks on schedule per the detailed project plan.
- Responsible for providing status and raising risks, impediments and issues to key stakeholders
- Responsible for interdependency tracking and ensuring early engagement of cross impacted teams such as Architecture, Risk, Engineering, business partners, and other CIOs.
- Support the development and approval of program/project business cases.
- Manage project life cycle phases (Waterfall or Agile) such as Initiation, Development (requirements, design, build, test), and Implementation/Project closure including both Technology and Business deliverables
- Lead, facilitate and participate in the delivery process for major project deliverables for Waterfall and Agile. This includes Epics, features, project plan, Business and Functional Requirements, Analysis & Design, QA, End User Testing, and Product Management deliverables.
- Coordinate and lead team resources that are onsite or virtual and located in multiple time zones and geographic locations to include offshore.
- Prepare and present project updates and status reports to Program and Executive teams
- Other responsibilities may include managing the change control process, overseeing the project s financial approval process, managing project issues/risks, developing contingency plans, and other activities in support of the team s overall success
- Responsible for contributions beyond the typical Project or Program manager role, including supporting Production Management, development, testing, and business analysis work.
- Information Security experience at a top 5 US Bank
- BA/BS IT/Computer Science, MIS, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, or related discipline
- 15+ Years professional experience in banks or other financial institutions, consulting firm and or software company
- 15+ years project management experience leading complex projects, valued at $1M or greater
- 5+ years experience in Information Security for large banks or other financial institutions
- Managed Teams of Project Managers across multiple work streams on large programs
- Experience in leading several complex system projects in parallel
- Knowledge or experience delivering Information Security programs/projects.
- Knowledge of Information Security or Cybersecurity Operations Privileged Access Management, Authentication, Service Account Management, Threat Detection, Security Monitoring, Incident Response, Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) and Vulnerability Management
- Knowledge of access management platforms:
Cyber Ark, SailPoint, and Microsoft Entra - Knowledge of Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP):
Wiz, Prisma Cloud, and Crowd Strike - Understanding of systems development methodologies.
