We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Network & Azure Cloud Engineer / Network SME to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in enterprise networking, Microsoft Azure networking, data center infrastructure, and hybrid cloud environments.
This is a network-focused L3/SME position responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting complex enterprise and hybrid network environments. The candidate will also provide technical leadership and serve as an escalation point for critical network issues.
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise and hybrid cloud network infrastructure.
- Act as an L3 escalation point and Network SME for complex technical issues.
- Design and support Microsoft Azure networking, including VNets, Subnets, NSGs, UDRs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, VPN, Express Route, and DNS.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI, Cisco ISE, Cisco Wireless, Cisco ASR, and Cisco Nexus 9K environments.
- Troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, routing, switching, VPN, DMVPN, and SD-WAN technologies.
- Support GTM, LTM, DNS, and load-balancing environments.
- Participate in network transformation, migration, data center modernization, and cloud migration initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to network engineering teams.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams to resolve complex issues.
- Participate in production support and after-hours/on-call activities when required.
- Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, and implementation plans.
- Communicate effectively with technical teams, management, and stakeholders.
- 10+ years of strong enterprise networking experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Networking.
- Experience with Azure VNet, Subnets, NSGs, UDRs, Azure Firewall, Application Gateway, VPN, Express Route, and DNS.
- Strong Cisco networking experience, including Cisco ACI, ISE, Wireless, ASR, and Nexus 9K.
- Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, routing, and switching.
- Experience with VPN, DMVPN, and SD-WAN.
- Experience with GTM, LTM, DNS, and load balancing.
- Strong understanding of hybrid cloud and data center networking.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and technical leadership skills.
- ITIL knowledge is preferred.
- Solar Winds and network automation/Dev Ops experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working as an L3 Network Engineer, Network SME, Network Architect, or similar senior networking role.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
