Senior Data Integration Consultant

A financial services client is seeking a Senior Data Integration Consultant for a 12+ month contract position to support a strategic initiative focused on modernizing and scaling their wealth management data platform. This role is based remotely and will be responsible for integrating data across multiple systems, enabling automated client onboarding workflows, and supporting enterprise-wide adoption of wealth management technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of wealth management domain expertise and hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting scalable data integration solutions. This is not a traditional software development role. Success requires someone who understands both the business context of financial data and the technical processes required to move, transform, and operationalize that data across platforms.

• Analyze and document existing data workflows and integration processes.
• Design and implement scalable data integration solutions across wealth management platforms.
• Develop and maintain automated workflows to support client reporting and data distribution.
• Integrate data from portfolio accounting, alternative investments, client reporting, and other financial systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology partners to ensure accurate and reliable data delivery.
• Support data modeling, mapping, transformation, and quality validation activities.
• Develop production-ready integration processes utilizing APIs and integration platforms.
• Help establish best practices for data governance, automation, and platform scalability.
• Troubleshoot data issues and optimize existing workflows.
• Participate in architecture discussions and recommend process improvements.

• Required
  • 5+ years of experience within Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, Investment Management, or Financial Services.
  • Experience working directly with wealth management data domains, including:
    • Portfolio data
    • Client reporting
    • Alternative investments
    • Investment accounting
    • Client account structures
  • Hands‑on experience implementing or supporting data integrations, product‑grade solutions, and/or automation initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, data movement, data transformation, and integration architecture.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver and support productionized solutions rather than ad hoc processes or manual workflows.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and business discussions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced project environment.
