• Plan, recommend, reserve, and execute the investigation, valuation, disposition, and settlement of large personal insurance property claims
• Ensure compliance with corporate claim settlement policies and procedures, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements
• Mentor and provide guidance to Associate General Adjusters and Property Damage Adjusters
• Assess indemnity and expense exposure of assigned claims for fair and timely dispositions
• Operate in a team environment to develop and share business knowledge and claim handling expertise

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a full file Claim Property Adjuster for the Associate General Adjuster position; 5+ years for the General Adjuster position
• Strong knowledge of residential claims and the ability to interpret and apply insurance coverage
• College degree or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in cost estimation using Xactimate and strong computer skills
• Must have knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel

• Experience managing complex property losses in excess of $300,000 in value
• Consistent high level of performance and achievement throughout career
• Good working knowledge of regional jurisdictional issues
• Disciplined time management and organizational skills with a self-reliant work style
• Availability for nationwide catastrophe operations as necessary
