Now Hiring Certified Legal Interpreters in Texas! Bridge Voice Interpreters is actively hiring Certified Court Interpreters, Licensed Court Interpreters (LCI), Bilingual Legal Interpreters, and Remote Legal Interpreters in Dallas‑Fort Worth, TX;
Houston, TX;
San Antonio, TX. We are seeking experienced interpreters for courtroom interpretation, legal translation support, depositions, attorney‑client meetings, immigration hearings, and remote video interpreting assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate consecutive and simultaneous interpretation in courtrooms, hearings, depositions, and legal conferences.
  • Interpret complex legal terminology and procedural language in real time while maintaining neutrality and professionalism.
  • Support judges, attorneys, witnesses, defendants, and court personnel through precise communication.
  • Prepare for assignments by reviewing legal documents, case materials, and subject‑specific terminology.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to interpreter ethics and professional standards.
  • Deliver services in both onsite and remote/hybrid environments using video and audio interpreting platforms.
  • Apply strong note‑taking and memory retention techniques during proceedings.
  • Coordinate schedules, manage multiple assignments, and maintain timely communication with legal teams and coordinators.
  • Ensure professional, culturally competent communication across diverse populations and sensitive legal matters.
Required Qualifications
  • Licensed Court Interpreter (LCI) credential or equivalent recognized court interpreter certification.
  • Proven experience interpreting within courtroom, tribunal, or formal legal environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in English and target language(s).
  • Strong command of legal terminology across criminal, civil, immigration, family, and administrative law matters.
  • Demonstrated expertise in both consecutive and simultaneous interpretation.
  • Excellent listening, memory retention, and note‑taking abilities.
  • Strong understanding of interpreter ethics, confidentiality, and impartiality standards.
  • Comfortable using remote interpreting technology and digital communication platforms.
  • Ability to perform effectively in fast‑paced, high‑pressure legal settings.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Formal education or certification in Legal Interpreting, Translation, Languages, Legal Studies, or related fields.
  • Experience working with vulnerable or limited‑English‑proficiency populations.
  • Familiarity with Texas court systems and legal procedures.
  • Experience supporting multiple agencies, law firms, or public sector organizations.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to specialized subject matters and case types.
