Overview
2.3.5 Logistics Support (Inventory Management).
Responsibilities- Provide logistics services to support WS3 equipment deployed worldwide. Specific expertise is required to expedite hardware through the repair process and the defense supply systems to reach end users in worldwide locations.
- Demonstrate expertise in requirements computations and the use of Air Force supply systems, e.g., D035, D043, CDAS, and PIDS.
- Shall have familiarity with stock listing, disposals, reprocurements, configuration management, technical/drawing reviews, validation/verification, and technical orders, including modifications/changes.
- Inventory management specialists shall process shipments within the appropriate required time frames.
- In addition to deliverable reports, support personnel are required to input data to government-produced reports, data systems, and briefings as requested.
- Provide the following annually (estimated): 120 supply transactions (D035, and DD1149) and 240 transactions in PIDS to move material in/out of maintenance for repair and/or testing.
- TS SCI Clearance is required.
- Experience with logistics support and inventory management as described above.
