- Procurement Ownership:
Own end‑to‑end procurement of all site fit‑out materials and services outside of construction and automation scope, spanning facility supplies, breakroom equipment, safety materials, signage, janitorial services, recycling programs, and more. - Module & BOM Development:
Partner with internal module owners to develop, document, and maintain standardized module specifications and bills of materials (BOMs), ensuring every site is outfitted consistently and completely from day one. - Vendor Identification & Management:
Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors across categories including furniture, safety equipment, vending, janitorial, and recycling, establishing reliable supplier relationships that support Exol’s growth pipeline. - Cost Optimization:
Develop and execute cost savings strategies through bulk purchasing agreements, vendor consolidation, and competitive sourcing, ensuring Exol captures the benefit of scale as we expand. - Order Management & Receipt Coordination:
Manage the full order lifecycle for each site from purchase order generation through delivery confirmation, ensuring materials arrive on time, in full, and in sequence with site readiness milestones. - Module Reviews & Continuous Improvement:
Lead regular reviews of module specifications and BOMs with internal stakeholders, incorporating operational learnings from live sites to improve accuracy, reduce waste, and evolve standards over time. - Spend Visibility:
Build and maintain procurement tracking tools that provide clear visibility into committed spend, order status, and budget performance across all active site fit‑outs. - Cross‑Functional Coordination:
Work closely with Facilities, Operations, and onsite start‑up leadership teams to align procurement timelines with project schedules, ensuring materials are on‑site when needed without creating storage or sequencing conflicts.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, operations, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or program management, preferably within a high‑growth, multi‑site, or start‑up operating environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent procurement work streams across active projects, with strong organizational discipline and attention to delivery timelines.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing, negotiating, and managing vendor relationships across multiple spend categories, including services and indirect materials.
- Experience working with bills of materials or equivalent product/materials documentation in an operational or facilities context, with an ability to translate stakeholder needs into structured procurement requirements.
- APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or comparable procurement or supply chain credentials.
- Preferred:
Prior experience supporting the fit‑out, launch, or operational start‑up of warehouse, distribution, or fulfillment center environments. - Preferred:
Experience structuring and managing bulk purchasing agreements or master supply contracts that deliver cost savings at scale across multiple sites or locations. - Preferred:
Familiarity with enterprise procurement or inventory management platforms (e.g., SAP, Coupa, Oracle) for purchase order management and spend tracking.
Up to 25% travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations. The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi‑weekly basis.
