Mexico Import / Export Specialist II
As a Mexico Import / Export Specialist II, you'll be responsible for administrative tasks, data entry, and recordkeeping related to Mexico and U.S. Customs compliance activities for exports into H-E-B Mexico. You'll partner with procurement teams for MX and the U.S. to determine the best landed costs and terms of sale. Key responsibilities include educating suppliers and cross-functional partners on team processes, recommending fact-based changes for processes and tools, supporting leaders in partner orientation, training, work review, and guidance on best practices, providing customer service to resolve moderately complex issues and questions, educating internal partners in customs compliance-related information, participating on/leading cross-functional teams, working under limited supervision from detailed verbal and written instructions, issuing USDA certificates, reviewing daily orders for accuracy and outliers, proactively working with brokers to avoid missing information, tracking and monitoring government permits inventory, researching fill rates & short ships & identifying root cause, assisting Mexico in priority ordering of heavy shorts, conducting billing inventories, consolidating shipments & billings to drive efficient loads and cost savings for HEB, supporting LPO process certification for new organic items, interacting with suppliers on compliance questions and certifications, ensuring accuracy of information provided to customs brokers for new items, requesting and reviewing affidavits for new items, requesting regulatory documents on new complex items, executing annual USMCA solicitation, review and track certificates, providing customs broker with USMCA certificates monthly, reviewing completed landed cost analyses for completion and accuracy, maintaining KPIs for LCDs, COOs, gos, organic items, and customs brokers, assisting in preparing responses to internal/external customs compliance requests, collaborating with internal teams, brokers, vendors, carriers, and suppliers to ensure customs compliance and address/resolve questions and issues, ensuring procurement teams understand total cost of goods, including transportation, duty, and labeling, obtaining annual W&T rates from distribution accounting, and working with H-E-B Mexico for final approval to request permits.

Key Requirements:
Intermediate support individual contributor position performing administrative or specialized tasks in support of daily business activities. Works under moderate supervision on mostly routine tasks but may deviate from or interpret standard procedures based on knowledge gained through learned experience.
Work Experience:
2+ years of experience generally expected
