Supply Chain Systems Analyst II - Systems, Programs Analytics

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Analysis team is just one part of H‑E‑B’s Corporate Planning & Analysis division, which develops and maintains budgets and systems while providing current, reliable financial data, analysis, and technical information. The team focuses on supply‑chain optimization and supports delivery of systems applications to advance strategic initiatives.

As a Supply Chain Analyst, you’ll develop processes, tools, reports, and data analytics to support H‑E‑B’s supply‑chain strategic initiatives, including supply‑and‑demand forecasting, inventory planning, logistics, and cost optimization.

• 5+ years of supply‑chain experience

• Independently identifies, documents, analyzes, implements, and communicates solutions to meet business needs
• Defines and documents current and future operational scenarios and works with other business areas to translate moderately complex business needs into solutions and requirements
• Analyzes probable impact of recommendations and solutions on other business areas and client groups
• Contributes to cost‑benefit analysis, design, and implementation of supply‑chain models for projects
• Provides support and resources for ad‑hoc analysis requests, tool development, and process improvement projects
• Identifies issues and gaps within current business processes and develops solutions that drive continuous improvement
• Serves clients and stakeholders as an emerging subject‑matter expert and thought leader in the focus area

• Manages medium‑to‑large projects that may encompass technologies, facilities, processes, materials, handling systems, or other business initiatives
• Ensures projects are on schedule, of high quality, within budget, meet departmental scorecard, and create business value
• Contributes to project efforts and status reporting
• Proactively develops project‑management tools for supply chain
• Supports and delivers training and education services to teams and resources
• May lead, in conjunction with project teams, delivery of processes, systems, metrics, and services
• Maintains client‑stakeholder partnerships to ensure overall satisfaction

• A related degree, comparable formal training, certification, or work experience
• 5+ years of experience
• Supply Chain Systems:
  Project Management Professional Certification (preferred) or
• Supply Chain Optimization:
  Experience developing or maintaining engineered labor standards (preferred) or
• Transportation Procurement:
  Experience with freight term changes and logistics or Llamasoft:
  Supply Chain Guru experience (preferred)
