Tracking & Tracing Development Intern

GH Logistics is hiring Tracking & Tracing Development Intern to join our operations team at San Antonio HQ. This is a hands‑on role designed to build real skills in load tracking, shipment tracing, carrier communication, and dispatch support. This is an entry‑level position. Strong performers are considered for full‑time roles.

• Monitor live loads in real time and maintain accurate, up-to‑date load statuses
• Flag delays, check‑calls, and exceptions to the dispatch team
• Communicate directly with drivers to confirm positions and ETAs
• Investigate delayed, missing, or stalled shipments and coordinate with carriers to resolve exceptions
• Apply escalation procedures — knowing when to hold, when to escalates, and how to document
• Contribute to team reporting and KPI tracking
• Develop and maintain carrier relationships over time

You'll start with live tracking fundamentals, then move into tracing and problem-solving by months two and three — picking up real exposure to the full freight lifecycle and brokerage operations as you go. Advancement is performance-based, so the faster you grow, the faster the role does too.

• Strong written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and data accuracy
• Comfort with Google Workspace and basic Excel; quick to learn new platforms
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stay composed and solutions‑focused in a fast‑paced environment

• Background in customer service, or a related coordination role
• Supply Chain Experience
• Degree within Supply Chain or related field.

No prior logistics or transportation experience is required — training is provided.
