We are seeking a strategic and analytical Strategic Sourcing Specialist to manage sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, procurement activities, and cost optimization efforts. This role will support the development of effective sourcing strategies while ensuring quality, value, and reliable supply across the organization.
Position Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business and procurement objectives.
- Identify qualified suppliers and evaluate sourcing opportunities.
- Conduct market research and analyze supplier capabilities, pricing, and market conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier performance, quality, pricing, and delivery.
- Support supplier negotiations and resolve sourcing-related issues.
- Analyze costs and identify opportunities for savings and process improvements.
- Support contract negotiations and maintain appropriate sourcing documentation.
- Monitor purchasing agreements and ensure compliance with established terms.
- Partner with internal teams to understand requirements and sourcing needs.
- Coordinate with procurement, operations, finance, and other stakeholders.
- Provide sourcing recommendations based on data and market analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Procurement, or a related field.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to evaluate suppliers, pricing, contracts, and market conditions.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
- Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP).
- APICS or other relevant supply chain or procurement certification.
- Competitive salary range of $90,000–$120,000 annually
