Groundskeeper/Porter – The Tobin Estate Phase 2

Ensure the physical aspects of the community are maintained and that grounds, amenities and overall curb appeal meet standards. Provide support to service team members and help maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.

• Inspect the community throughout the day to remove litter, debris, pet droppings, and keep all common areas and amenities neat.
• Remove trash and remaining items from vacant apartments before the make‑ready process, transferring trash to the dumpster or storage area and maintaining storage areas.
• Complete assigned minor and routine service requests as requested by the Service Supervisor or Community Manager, and assist the make‑ready specialist in the turnover process.
• Change all locks per the property’s policy and ensure gates to all pool areas are working according to codes and safety standards.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as necessary.
• Inform appropriate supervisors of any observed hazards or potentially dangerous situations for residents, team members, guests and others.
• Demonstrate customer‑service skills by treating residents and others with respect, answering resident questions, and responding sensitively to complaints about maintenance services.
• Comply with Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies by attending routine safety meetings, completing required training on OSHA and other safety laws, and reporting accidents and incidents promptly and accurately.

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.

• Stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, climb ladders, reach, carry objects, crawl in confined areas for extended periods.
• Work inside and outside in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, hail, wind, sleet).
• Push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to 25 pounds independently and 50 pounds with assistance.
• Rare or regular travel may be required to assist other properties, attend training or business meetings.
• Work a flexible schedule, including calls during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The hourly range for this position is $14.00 – $16.00.

• Corporate positions: eligible for quarterly or annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.
