Monday–Friday, with flexibility for weekends or on-call as needed

Army Residence Community is looking for a skilled and reliable Facility Equipment Maintenance Technician to repair, maintain, and support the operational efficiency of custodial and laundry equipment throughout our facility. This position also plays a vital role in maintaining lighting, air conditioning filters, drains, and performing general handyman tasks as needed.

• MUST have experience cleaning Carpets
• Custodial Equipment Maintenance & Repair (non-inclusive):
  Vacuums;
  Extractors;
  Buffers
• Laundry Equipment Maintenance & Repair (non-inclusive):
  Washers;
  Dryers;
  Irons
• Facility Support Duties:
  Replace light bulbs throughout various areas;
  Change air conditioning filters facility-wide;
  Clean facility drains;
  Move furniture for social events and cleaning;
  Perform general handyman duties and other tasks as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience with equipment repair and maintenance required
• Must be physically able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must have full range of motion for lifting, reaching, crawling, kneeling, stooping, and climbing
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Vision:
  Normal vision required
• Hearing:
  Can be performed by a hearing-impaired individual

• Active physical labor, including walking, lifting, bending, reaching, and operating tools
• Work performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs and ladders
• Frequent handling, grasping, and use of hand tools required

• Must pass background check and drug screening in accordance with state regulations and accrediting agencies
