Residential Maintenance Technician

We are in search of a versatile and skilled Residential Maintenance Handyman to oversee the comprehensive care and upkeep of a single-family residential home. The ideal candidate will be a jack-of-all-trades, capable of managing a wide array of tasks to keep the property in pristine condition. Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks across the home's systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, to ensure they are operating efficiently.

- Execute general household repairs and maintenance tasks such as mowing, trash removal, yard clean-up, and painting, to maintain the home's aesthetic appeal and functionality.

- Handle specific maintenance duties like lock changes, placing realtor signs, and coordinating with vendors for specialized services, ensuring quality control in all external services.

- Respond to and rectify urgent maintenance needs and troubleshoot issues swiftly to prevent escalation.

- Schedule and perform seasonal maintenance activities to prepare the home for different weather conditions, safeguarding against potential damage.

- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work, repairs completed, and inventory of supplies, ensuring a systematic approach to property upkeep.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building regulations in all maintenance activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Solid experience in residential maintenance or as a general handyman, with a broad skill set covering mechanical, electrical, and plumbing repairs, as well as general home care.

- Proficiency in a variety of home maintenance tasks, including landscaping, painting, and general repairs.

- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to meet the needs of the home.

- Strong problem-solving skills, with the capability to address issues proactively and creatively.

- Excellent communication skills, able to coordinate effectively with homeowners, team members, and external vendors.
