Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician performs routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and machinery. This position ensures that equipment operates safely and properly. The technician should be able to work independently and as part of a team and reports to the Operations Manager.
Shift: 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 5:30 am to 2:30 pm 1:30 pm to 12:00 am 11:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday to Sunday availability required Must be flexible with the schedule, including weekends and changing business needs.
Skills and Experience- Perform routine facility maintenance tasks, including inspecting, programming, and repairing machinery.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity and efficiency of equipment.
- Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in the installation and set-up of new equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and tools.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs and improvements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Technical proficiency in programmable logic controllers (PLC), general facility maintenance, and repair tasks.
- In depth knowledge of electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics of machines.
- Good understanding of machine learning and IOT for machines.
- Strong experience in implementing low-cost automation projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to use various hand and power tools.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
