As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager at Valor Medical Solutions, you'll lead our AR team and oversee the complete process of capturing sales, billing, and collecting payments. We seek a seasoned professional with deep insights into medical billing and AR processes to optimize cash flow, ensure timely collections, and maintain financial health.

Key Responsibilities:

AR Management:

- Oversee and manage all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reporting.

- Analyze accounts regularly to identify billing discrepancies and rectify any inconsistencies.

- Coordinate and review the preparation of monthly billing statements.

- Mentor, guide, and supervise the AR team members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their tasks.

- Provide ongoing training to the team on best practices in medical billing and AR.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate timely payment of invoices.

- Coordinate with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing queries or disputes.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Prepare regular reports showcasing AR status for senior management.

- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the billing and collections process.

Compliance and Regulations:

- Ensure AR practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards, particularly those specific to medical billing.

- Stay updated with changes in insurance policies, Medicare, Medicaid, and other relevant billing regulations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

- Proven experience in medical AR and billing is essential.

- Strong understanding of medical billing codes, insurance claims, and healthcare regulations.

- Proficient in AR software and tools, preferably specific to the medical industry.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to lead a team effectively and ensure optimal performance.
