Supply Chain Project Manager II

Overview

Zachry Group Supply Chain Project Manager II is responsible for the strategy, coordination and delivery of project related sourcing, purchasing, expediting, logistics, and material management in accordance with the plan, budget and schedule established for the project while also ensuring that the Supply Chain team adheres to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Project Execution Plan and the Prime Contract.

• Lead and coordinate the delivery of Supply Chain services as a member of the Project Management Team, reporting to the Project Director.
• Maintain regular interface with the PMT, project owner, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Provide project leadership overseeing staffing and overall execution strategy.
• Ensure procurement awards meet contract budget and schedule and maintain stewardship of corporate processes and procedures.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for project supply chain execution.
• Act as a customer and market-facing representative, reporting to customers and interfacing frequently with vendors and suppliers for contract execution.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university or applicable experience.
• Experience:
  
  5‑10 years of EPC experience, including supply‑chain management on projects up to $1B and leading a team of over 20 individuals.
• Market acumen for majority of spend categories and proficiency in contract negotiations, claim management, and supply‑chain risk components.
• Fluency with project‑management tools and work processes.
