Job SummaryThe Branch Operations Lead is responsible for the efficient and effective day-to-day operational execution within Branch 620, ensuring exceptional customer service, accurate inventory management, and a smooth workflow across all branch functions. This role supports the Branch Manager in achieving operational excellence and fostering a productive team environment.
Job Responsibilities- Oversee daily branch operations, including order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, and inventory control.
- Supervise and train branch staff, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, conducting regular cycle counts and assisting with physical inventories to minimize discrepancies and optimize stock.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders, including picking, packing, and dispatching.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with all company safety standards and regulations.
- Assist in resolving customer service issues and inquiries, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Operate and troubleshoot warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
- Generate operational reports and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Support the Branch Manager in administrative tasks, performance reviews, and operational planning.
- Act as a keyholder, responsible for opening and closing the branch as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. - 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and warehouse best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs) regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
USD $17.25 - USD $23.00 /Hr.
