POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordination of the operation of the assigned components of the ECMO & Advanced Technologies program including planning, implementing, monitoring, and improving the quality of services. Oversees the day-to-day operations and maintains fiscal accountability.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required;
Master’s degrees preferred. Completion of University Health or other ELSO-based ECMO training program required. A minimum of 1 year experience as a clinical ECMO Specialist required. Previous experience as an ECMO Coordinator preferred. Must have current American Heart Association BLS certification. ACLS, and PALS certification must be obtained within six (6) months of hire.
LICENSURE
Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas is required.
