Veterinary Office Manager

Position Summary

The Office Manager will oversee the daily operations of our reception team while supporting the overall efficiency of the hospital. This individual will work closely with the veterinarians and support staff to maintain exceptional client service, promote a positive workplace culture, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

• Supervise and support the reception team.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, and employee development.
• Serve as the primary resource for many human resources functions and staff support.
• Ensure exceptional customer service and efficient front office operations.
• Monitor and improve office workflows and administrative processes.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Oversee cash handling procedures and daily financial accountability.
• Maintain administrative records and clinic policies.
• Work closely with the doctors and staff to promote communication and teamwork.
• Assist ownership with administrative projects as needed.

• Previous experience as an Office Manager, Practice Manager, Operations Manager, or Supervisor.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

• Veterinary or medical office experience.
• Human resources experience.
• Inventory management experience.
• Experience with veterinary practice management software.
