Project Summary
IES is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager (Low voltage) in Texas. This is a career position where you will be working with a dynamic and growing company leading a team of professionals. The Project Manager must be able to travel 75 percent. The Project Manager is the overall manager for assigned project(s) and ensures that all contracted work is developed, implemented, installed and managed in accordance with the Company’s requirements, including safety, quality, management and financial performance.
All aspects of the project must be carried out efficiently with respect to staffing, materials management, financial management, customer care and delivery goals.
Minimum salary: $95,000.00 per year. Maximum salary: $ per year.
Responsibilities- Recruit, hire, train, manage, supervise, promote, discipline, and discharge all project‑related staff.
- Effectively manage all human resource issues and, when necessary, elevate them per Company policies.
- Complete recommendations for employee performance ratings, promotions, and pay changes.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to meet all customer and Company goals and objectives.
- Manage workload distribution and monitor customer delivery and job installation progress.
- Plan, manage, monitor, and maintain project profitability to achieve Company goals.
- Review all job‑cost postings for accuracy and completeness, including invoice preparation, customer collections and periodic financial reporting.
- Manage all related quality and safety issues on customer work.
- Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
- Act as the Company liaison for interface with customer representative(s).
- Create, develop, and implement account process improvements.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Self‑motivated, positive, professional, and able to lead others in creating, developing and implementing project process improvements.
- Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and effective communication skills.
- High skill level in interpreting blueprints and other project documents.
- Ready to travel within branch or regional territory as required.
- Ability to learn Company and customer project‑management systems.
- Ability to secure and maintain a Company‑sponsored American Express card.
- Proficient in using trade tools: punch tool with 110/66 block blades, 6/8‑position combo crimp tool, Krone/3M/BIX, butt set, volt‑ohmmeter, 4‑pair continuity tester, and 5‑gang punch tool.
- High School diploma or GED equivalency;
Bachelor’s degree preferred. - RCDD certification preferred.
- Experience in customer interface, such as liaison between customer and Company.
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
- Meet Company minimum driving standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a scope of work, develop detailed tasks, and manage them to final completion and customer turnover.
