Job Summary:

This full‑time exempt role oversees Water Mitigation and Emergency Services projects, managing project execution, estimating, and technician coordination. It requires on‑call availability in the field and office to support restoration services, with local sales and marketing responsibilities as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond to all Mitigation & Emergency Services jobs and assess service issues.
  • Hire, train, and supervise Mitigation & Emergency Service technicians.
  • Coordinate responses to new jobs and scope projects for estimating.
  • Manage projects including estimation with Xactimate, Symbility, or other platforms.
  • Track and monitor online control points (dates/times) via internal and external websites.
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance adjusters, decision makers, and third‑party reviewers.
  • Handle project budgeting, invoicing, and collection of paid work.
  • Approve or deny contractor invoices and manage subcontractor relationships.
  • Develop new subcontractor relationships as needed.
  • Execute sales and marketing efforts within the branch market to generate new leads.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Hire and train Mitigation & Emergency Service technicians.
  • Supervise technicians during project execution.

Education and/or Experience

Associate’s degree (A.A. or A.S.) from a two‑year college or technical school with six months to one year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively to customers and employees.

Computer Skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems, interpret varied instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form, and manage situations with limited standardization.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands for handling, reach with arms, talk, and hear. Frequently required to climb or balance. Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or smell. Must lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 50 pounds frequently, and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Must be able to carry at least 50 pounds for moving material to project sites, and carry a 40‑foot ladder to roofs.

Environment

Exposure to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, high or precarious locations, wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, vibration, and moderate noise levels. Appropriate safety equipment is provided.
