Mission Hires is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee end-to-end project delivery, maintain strong client relationships through proactive status updates, and ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget targets. This role owns financial tracking (budgets, cost/revenue projections, change orders), coordinates cross-functional teams, manages subcontractors, and mentors Project Engineers to drive high-quality execution and results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain client relationships; deliver regular project status updates to clients and leadership
  • Own project financials: prepare budget analyses, cost and revenue projections, and manage change orders
  • Lead and participate in project meetings with internal departments to align on scope, schedule, and risks
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure scope and direction remain on schedule and within budget
  • Delegate tasks and mentor Project Engineers; provide coaching and performance feedback
  • Manage subcontractors, ensuring deliverables, quality, safety, and timelines are met
  • Track project performance, risks, and issues; implement mitigation and recovery plans as needed
  • Prepare and present clear reports and presentations for leadership and clients
  • Leverage CADD, ERP, and Microsoft Office (Excel) to manage project documentation and analytics
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and standards
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Engineering or equivalent applicable experience
  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience
  • Proven ability to manage small teams and delegate effectively
  • Strong negotiation skills with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and change order management
  • Demonstrated excellence in project management practices (scope, schedule, cost, risk, communications)
  • Experience managing subcontractors on technical projects
  • Proficiency with CADD, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
